Educators to Join Moshe Aaron Yeshiva High School Faculty

Moshe Aaron Yeshiva High School is pleased to announce the hiring of three new outstanding faculty members. 

Mary Sirangelo joined the science department. She boasts over 10 years of teaching experience, including holding the position of science chairperson. In addition to her teaching duties, Sirangelo developed a curriculum and trained freshmen students in web site development, and mentored a pre-med club.

Shirley Scamardella has been hired to teach in the MAYHS English department. Scamardella worked for over 30 years in both teaching and supervisory capacities. In addition to her certification to teach English, Scamardella is certified in drama, speech, and communication skills.

Agnes Azzolino joined the MAYHS math department May 4. She has been an educator for over 30 years, and her specialty is making math accessible to all students. In addition to teaching high school for many years in local area, Azzolino has served as an assistant professor of mathematics at Middlesex County College, and worked in the mathematics department of Montclair State College. She is the webmaster for "mathnstuff.com", a math support program that is used for in-service and staff development.

  
The new staff configuration allows all Moshe Aaron students to learn at the appropriate academic level, including Academy, Mechina, College-Prep, Honors, and Advanced Placement levels. A Moshe Aaron Yeshiva High School education develops students who are critical thinkers, with strong spiritual and moral values. The Crystal Plaza Caterers, Livingston, announced the recent hiring of Jason Shukovsky as catering sales manager. Prior to joining Crystal Plaza’s management staff, Shukovsky was the banquet manager at B’nai Tikvah, North Brunswick, for the past 16 years. He currently resides in Howell Township.


Rabbi Dr. Bernhard Rosenberg of Congregation Beth El, Edison, was re-elected president of the Metuchen- Edison Interfaith Clergy Association.
