FARBER. Golan and Joanna (nee Seidler) Farber of East Brunswick happily announce the birth of their son, David Eli, on June 13, 2007, at St. Peter's University Hospital. David weighed 5 lbs., 12 oz. and was 19 inches long. David's Hebrew first name, Daveed, is in memory and honor of his late grandpa, David Seidler. His Hebrew middle name, Efron, is in memory and honor of his late great-nana, Florence Sherman. "Nana" Theresa Seidler and "pop pop" Joe Rutch of East Brunswick, and safta and saba Toni and Shlomo Farber of Edison, are overjoyed with the new addition. Bar Mitzvahs

ROSENTHAL. Marc and Lee Rosenthal of East Brunswick are proud to announce the bar mitzvah of their son Nicholas on Sept. 1, 2007, at Temple B'nai Shalom, East Brunswick. Nick is the older brother of Sean. Grandparents are Libby and Jerry Rosenthal of Monroe Township, and the late Anne and Norman Herzog of Brooklyn. Following services, a kiddush will be held in honor of Nick. The celebration will continue with a reception at the Palms Plaza in Matawan. Nick is entering eighth grade at Churchill Junior High School, East Brunswick. Nick was an honor student at Hammarskjold Middle School, played saxophone in the school band, and played volleyball. For his mitzvah project, Nick collected baseball equipment from various stores to be sent to underprivileged children in the U.S. and other countries around the world. Weddings

BRESLER-FRIEDENREICH. Hava Bresler, daughter of Leah and Jonathan Bresler of Silver Spring, Md. was married to Avi Dov Freidenreich, son of Bonnie and Sheldon Freidenreich of Edison, N.J. on June 17, 2007 at Beth Sholom Congregation in Potomac, Md. Rabbi Gedaliah Anemer, Rosh HaYeshiva of the Yeshiva of Greater Washington and Rabbi of Young Israel Shomrai Emunah of Silver Spring, performed the ceremony. Hava is an alumnus of the Yeshiva of Greater Washington and graduated from the University of Maryland summa cum laude with a BS in Biology and BS in Education. She will be attending Rutgers Graduate School of Education in the fall. Avi is an alumnus of Moshe Aaron Yeshiva High School, and graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers College with a BA in Mathematics. He is an actuarial assistant at MetLife. The couple is living in Highland Park. Grandparents of the bride are Miriam Krantz and Michael Manoff, and Eliza and Harvey Bresler. Avi is the grandson of Vickie Zagorin. TARANDA-COHEN. The wedding of Erin Taranda and Benjamin Cohen took place August 19, 2007 in Lake Terrace, Lakewood. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Silvio and Chavie Taranda of Edison. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alec and Lisa Cohen of Edison. Both families are former long-time Lakewood residents. Alec is a former president of Congregation Sons of Israel, Lakewood. The bride recently attended Michlelet Esther and Michlala Yerushalayim, Jerusalem. The groom currently attends Lander College for Men, New York City. The couple will reside in Edison.
