Family: Single. Brother Kenneth Mayberg is a teacher in the Trenton school district; sister Jill Mayberg is an artist who lives in Vancouver, Wash., and parents are Norman and Lila Mayberg of Lakewood.

Community activities: Treasurer for three years and one of founding members of Rimon—The Mordecai T. Mezrich Center for Jewish Learning, and honoree Aug. 9 of Rimon's Avodat Halev Service of the Heart Award. Member of Business Network International.

Hobbies: "I enjoy traveling, reading. I enjoy hanging out at coffee shops, biking, hiking, and I love Kayaking, even when I recently tipped over for the first time in the Pacific."

Self-portrait: "Optimistic, happy, eclectic, trying to get the most out of life."

Greatest accomplishment: "Going into the business essentially dealing with income taxes with my father, then taking it to the next level."

Favorite food: "Low fat potato chips, chocolate, and coffee."

Best childhood memory: "Camping at Papoose Pond in Maine. I remember fishing off the dock, going swimming in the large cold lake, and hiking on the trails. I still camp and one day I'd like to go back and see if the lake is as large as I thought it was then, when I was a kid."

People don't know that I... "wanted to be a geologist and wound up as an accountant."

Last book I read: "Beat the Reaper" by Josh Bazell. "It's a novel about a Jewish doctor who gets involved with the mob."

Biggest asset in the local Jewish Community: "Being able to bring everyone together."

Biggest problem in the local Jewish community: "Coming up with financial resources to support the community."

If I had more time I would... "Try to volunteer at a soup kitchen and learn to sail."
