Truth about the pope
The absolute truth regarding Pope Pius XII during the Holocaust lies in the archives of the Vatican. The concept of sainthood is a Catholic issue, not a Jewish one. We will not influence Catholic theology or decision-making. Leave sainthood to the Catholics. As Jews, we do not need saints -- we have tzadikkim. Pope Pius was no tzadik.
