In a fundraiser to benefit Temple Sha'arey Shalom in Springfield, the temple's Brotherhood ran a
concession stand at a recent Somerset Patriots game. They successfully ran the stadium's largest concession stand.
The crew served everything from traditional fare such as hot dogs and soda to more creative items such as ice cream
and baskets of chicken and fries. Pictured from left to right are Steve Cohen, John Salerno,
Martin Von Ellen, and Brotherhood president Jason Pleva.
At Temple Beth El-Mekor Chayim Religious School in Cranford, there are always joyful occasions to
celebrate and learn about. This is done in unique and creative ways. Members of the Religious School enjoyed learning
about Jewish heritage with renowned ventriloquist Jonathan Geffner. He visited the religious school with his
puppet pals and delighted the students with his hilarious and spectacular performance.
Marcia the Musical Moose came all the way from the jungle to the Watch Me Grow Nursery School at
Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim in Cranford. This last day of school celebration for the two to five year
