BERKELEY. Mrs. Renee Berkeley died March 20, 2009 at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton. She was 80.

Born and raised in the Bronx, Mrs. Berkeley lived in Monroe for the last 22 years. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Barry and Randi, and Robert, all of New York City; sisters, Fay Fruend of Monroe and Marilyn Kaplan of Brick; and grandchildren, Jonathan and Scott Berkeley. Interment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan. DAVIS. Mr. Harry Davis died March 17, 2009 at Monroe Village. He was 90. Born in Yonkers, Mr. Davis lived in Manchester before moving to Monroe last year. Before retiring, he was a salesman for Freiman Fabrics, New York City. His wife, Felice, died in 1991.

Mr. Davis is survived by his companion of more than 16 years, Beatrice Horowitz; sister, Ann Novak of Florida; and nephews, Jody Davis, Jan Novak, and Mitchell Novak. EISENBERG. Mrs. Ruth Eisenberg died March 5, 2009 at home in the Fairways, Lakewood. She was 80. Born in the Bronx, Ruth was raised in Paterson, and came to Lakewood more than 50 years ago. She was a long time member of Congregation Ahavat Shalom in Lakewood, a life member of Hadassah and Habonim, where she worked on behalf of Ethiopian Jews. Art was one of her favorite pastimes, and she worked in the office of her husband’s practice.

Ruth is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Dr. David Eisenberg; sons and daughters-in-law, Howard and Susan Sandler of Gladwynne, Pa.; and Len and Carol of White Plains, N.Y.; daughters and sons-in-law, Marion and Steven Pardes of Toms River, and Sarita Eisenberg and Lou Hammerman of Montclair; and grandchildren Moish, Eva, Beth and Shoshana. Interment at B’nai Israel Memorial Park, Toms River.

GORDON. Mrs. Myrna Gordon died March 10, 2009. She was 87.

Born in Plock, Poland, Myrna emigrated in 1927 to New York, where she loved the arts, especially the ballet and theater. In 1946, Myrna moved to Colts Neck with her husband, Jack, who co-owned the Colts Neck General Store with his late brother-in-law, Bill Munoz. She was active with Head Start, Hadassah and Congregation B’nai Israel in Rumson, where she volunteered for various events. For two decades, she was the office manager for Broza, Block and Rubino, Public Accountants of Asbury Park. Myrna was the daughter of the late Solomon and Ida Turzanowsky, and the sister of the late Regina Berman and Frances Munoz.

Myrna is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Jack; children, Judy Cox of Manhattan, Hugh of Edison, Joel of Klamath, Calif., and Dr. Geoffrey Gordon of Port Washington, N.Y; and eight grandchildren. KASS. Mr. Sidney "Slip" Kass died March 18, 2009.

Born in Newark, Slip graduated from Hillside High School, and attended Albright College on a football scholarship. During World War II he was with the 359th Squadron stationed in England. He moved to the Pleasantdale section of West Orange in 1949. He was a liquor salesman for many years with Flagstaff Liquor Company in Perth Amboy. He retired in 1982 to Florida and then returned to New Jersey in 2005 to be closer to his family. Slip was adored by his family, and was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather whose sense of humor brought a smile to all around him. His wife of 59 years, Clayre, died in 2006. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Abe, Harry, Ethel, and Fanny.

Mr. Kass is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Judy of Wayne, Jeffrey of East Brunswick, and Craig and Lore of Jefferson; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Arthur Kohen of Howell, and Jodie and Heimey Hembach of Howell; 10 grandchildren; and Maliah, his amazing caretaker of three years. Interment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Arrangements by Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood. KORMAN. Mr. Hyman Rubin Korman died at home March 12, 2009. He was 56.

Born and raised in Lakewood, Hyman settled in Howell 26 years ago. He was a member of Congregation Sons of Israel, Lakewood. He was a sales and leasing consultant with Liccardi Lincoln Mercury, Green Brook. Hyman is survived by his dear mother, Bernice; beloved wife of 27 years, Sofia; sons, Joseph Lawrence and Eric Phillip, both of Howell; and brothers, Alex Korman of the Bronx, and Morris Korman of Manalapan.

MILLER. Mr. Barney Miller died March 18, 2009 at the Cliffs at Eagle Rock, West Orange. He was 91.

Born in New York City, Mr. Miller lived in Lakewood and Livingston before moving to West Orange two years ago. He served in the Army during World War II and was a real estate broker who owned Barney Miller Agency, Lakewood, for 30 years before retiring in 1984. He was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude (Volow).

Mr. Miller is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Lois and Ronald, and Sandra and Abbott; and grandchildren, Daniel, Rebecca, Emily and Madelyn. Interment at Freehold Hebrew Benefit Society Cemetery, Freehold. Arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, 2950 Union.

RABINOWITZ. Mr. William Rabinowitz died March 13, 2009 following a recent illness. He was 90.

A World War II veteran who served as a sergeant and tank commander with military honors in the South Pacific, William joined his family business, The Style Shop in New Brunswick, after he returned from the war. He was the mastermind of Carols, Inc., a bridal and formal wear business that continues to exist today as Jefre Bridals. He loved his family, his work and his life, which he always lived to the fullest. He was predeceased by his sister, Lillian, and his best friend and twin brother, Irving.

William is survived by his wife, Leanore Pleet Rabinowtiz; sons and daughters-in-law, Mel and Debra Rabin, Jeffrey and Fern, and Richard (Boruch) and Dena; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Interment at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin. Arrangements by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick.
