ELLEN-RAISMAN. Joan (Elias) and Barry Ellen of Metuchen announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Beth Ellen, to Adam Derek Raisman, son of Isa and Mark Raisman, of Philadelphia. Ms. Ellen is a 2005 graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and is currently pursuing a medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She will graduate in May 2009 and become a resident in Pediatrics. Mr. Raisman is a 2002 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and received a Masters in International Relations from Villanova University in 2006. He is employed as an intelligence analyst.
Stacy is the granddaughter of Doris Elias of Jenkintown, Pa., the late Warren Elias, and the late Betty and Samuel Ellen of Glen Cove, N.Y. Adam is the grandson of the late Sarah and David Braverman and Florence and Joseph Raisman, all of Philadelphia.
A Nov. 1, 2009 wedding is planned.
