TORNECK-HASSAN.
The marriage of Aviva Torneck and Josh Hassan took place Aug. 24 at Anthony's Pier 9, New Windsor, N.Y. Rabbi Ronald Schwartzberg of Highland Park officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvan and Lori Small of East Brunswick. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim and Judy Hassan of Highland Park. The matron of honor was Heather Greenblatt. The bridesmaids were Rose Wimpfheimer, Dana Wimpfheimer, Rebecca Gelber, Ilana Snyder, Phili Hernandez, and Doba Abrams. The best man was Judah Loewenstein of Highland Park. The ushers were Baruch Jacobovicz, Sammy Landa, Simon Chamama, and Jacob Bayar. The bride graduated from Stern College for Women with a degree in biology. The groom attends Yeshiva University and will graduate in January with a degree in psychology. The couple will reside in New York after a trip to Walt Disney World, Florida.
