Responding to letter about Rabbi

In your most recent Letters To The Editor column, you published an ad hominem attack against Rabbi Ben and Charlene Rosenberg of Edison.

Jewish tradition strictly prohibits such behavior and many members of our community are concerned to see that The Jewish State pages are opened to such personal attacks.

Personally, I am well aware of the significant and ongoing good works performed by the Rosenbergs. An apology is due them while your editorial policy is in need of review.
